Organic farming in practice - organic viticulture in Somló, Hungary

In this video János Aszódi, editor of the Hungarian New Agricultural Magazine, visited the exceptional Somló Wine Region.

This is the first wine region in Hungary to convert all its area to organic farming. In the video Sándor Baráth, chair of the Kreinbacher Farm and the Wine Community of the Somló Wine Region, speaks about the current state of the transition. Besides, Bence Trugly, our researcher, and Krisztina Nagy Markóné, development engineer of the Biocont Magyarország Ltd., share valuable information on the copper replacement experiments – conducted within the RELACS project – developing a successful technology for the protection of grapes in organic farming.
